As noted earlier this week, the Clippers have made the International League playoffs for the second year in a row. This is pretty fascinating to me based on the sheer volume of players who have suited up for the Clippers this year: 61, including 39 pitchers.
My personal favorite on the team, who likely will not make the Tribe's 40 man roster is Yhoxian Medina. The 38th-round pick from 2011 has had an ok year but is still sorely lacking any power or on-base skills. He had a .257/.298/.365 slash. If he had a decent year I was hoping for a non-roster invite in the spring, but at 26, my best guess is that he gets released this offseason.
Notes: I have included compensation draft picks as being more than one degree as the Indians obtained that pick based on a player they formally held rights to. Also, when I have identified a free agent year, it is the year they signed for (i.e. December 11 would be 2012).
