On May 4th, Giovanny Urshela was designated for assignment by the Cleveland Indians. The Tribe then had seven days to do one of the following three options:
- Trade him
- Release him
- Place him on waivers
As of this afternoon, the Cleveland Indians have chosen door #1:

Urshela probably won’t get much playing time thanks to Josh Donaldson and Yangervis Solarte, but what do I know?
It’s unclear where exactly Cash Considerations will play. He’s young but pretty advanced for his age, so I’d imagine he’ll start in Akron and may earn a mid-season promotion to Columbus if he keeps up his hot start to 2018.
