While we await the fate of Francisco Lindor and Mike Clevinger, the Indians have made a move to improve the 2020 team:
Second baseman Cesar Hernandez and the Cleveland Indians are in agreement on a one-year, $6.25 million contract, sources familiar with the agreement tell ESPN.

Kudos to Passan for being first on the beat today, but our own Alex Hooper was calling for this weeks ago. And now it has happened.
More analysis to come in the coming days, but it appears that the Tribe has found their second baseman for 2020:
Cesar Hernandez's last four seasons: .279/.357/.395 slash line, 15 stolen bases per year. Has been about league average or a little better offensively. He'll be the starting second baseman, Jose Ramirez will remain at third, as the team preferred.
